Company ProfileBrasch Manufacturing Company, Inc. is a privately held corporation that maintains offices in Maryland Heights, a suburb of St. Louis, Missouri and operates manufacturing facilities in Paris, Missouri. The company was established in 1964 by founder and president Jerry Brasch. Brasch Manufacturing Company supplies a complete line of electric heating equipment for the commercial, industrial and institutional marketplace. Brasch gas detectors are intended for use in conjunction with ventilation equipment to remove harmful fumes and comply with Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) standards. Mr. Brasch received his engineering degrees from Washington University in 1944 and 1947. He taught mathematics in the University College of Washington University from 1946 to 1966 and has received the Distinguished Alumni Award from Washington University as well as the Engineering Alumni Achievement Award and Dean's Award from the School of Engineering. He currently serves on the Board of Trustees, the Building and Grounds Committee and as Vice Chairman for Planned Giving with the Alumni Board of Governors for the University. In the past Mr. Brasch has served as president of the St. Louis Electrical Board, the local chapter of The American Technion Society and his congregation. He is an accomplished organist and a member of the St. Louis Theatre Organ Society.
