This unique combination gas detector finds application where
it is desirable to meet Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) standards and protect occupants
from the dangerous carbon monoxide fumes of fossil fuel consuming heating
equipment. The Brasch Combination Detector
utilizes a dual sensor system that monitors both gases. The easy to read
digital display continuously oscillates between O2 and CO concentration
readings.
As target gas levels change, contacts are provided to
actuate ventilation equipment and an audible internal alarm will activate if
levels continue to diverge from preset levels. Since ventilation equipment is only required when
levels are outside selected parameters, energy costs for HVAC operation are
significantly reduced.
The Brasch Combination Detector accepts two sensor inputs and
may be provided with both signals integral (local), one integral and one remote
or both remote. When a remote signal is desired, the Detector is provided
with Brasch Gas Transmitter(s) as required.
